2. Collection, use and processing of data

2.1 Notes on log files when visiting websites

When you visit our GMG Diagnostics websites, the default is that the information transmitted by your Internet provider (e.g. the domains from which you are accessing the GMG Diagnostics websites, your IP address, the operating system, the device you use to connect, date and time, browser type, language and configurations, hyperlinks followed within GMG Diagnostics websites and your activities on these websites is collected automatically to enable technical operation of the websites and better responsiveness. This information is recorded in the form of log files.

2.2 Use and processing

Your personal data will be used solely for the purposes of relationship with you or for other purposes mentioned on the GMG Diagnostics websites or for any other stated purpose (e.g. information about our products and services, etc.). 5. Newsletter

You can subscribe to various newsletters via GMG websites. You will only receive these newsletters if you have given your explicit consent.

In some newsletters our service provider uses tracking technologies to analyze how effective the newsletters are. The only information collected for statistical analysis, is your email address but it is not anonymized. Your email address is combined with the tracking record, to determine open-rates and clicked links. Due to the service provider’s tracking technologies the user has no option to interact without tracking. The IP addresses of the newsletter recipients is also available to the service provider.

8. Contact form and email traffic

The personal data you enter on the form are the minimum required (only a name and an email address) for contacting purposes and they are stored on GMG’s contractual web hosting provider. Alternatively, it is also possible to contact us by email at In this case, the personal data you send by email will be stored on our cloud email server, hosted by our contractual cloud hosting provider.

9. Storage period of personal data

Your personal data will only be stored by GMG (and, if applicable, by its contractual service providers) for as long as allowed, in particular as long as the data is required for the agreed purpose or for compliance with legal obligations. When the purpose of the processing no longer exists, the data is erased.
